EDX Education

Your Neurologist, Primary Care Physician, or other healthcare professional referred you to the EDX Lab based on a provisional diagnosis, clinical findings and/or symptoms you have been experiencing or as follow-up to an existing condition. EDX Studies are an important part of diagnosing:

• Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
• Motor neuron diseases
• Myopathies
• Neuropathies
• NMJ disorders (e.g., myasthenia gravis and myasthenic syndrome)
• Plexopathies
• Radiculopathies

EDX studies are also useful when evaluating:

• Cervical and lumbosacral disc diseases
• Tumors involving an extremity/spinal cord/peripheral nervous system
• Low-back pain
• Neurotrauma
